Head of Product – Drug Delivery

As the Head of Product, Drug-Delivery, you will be responsible to lead the process of evaluating market opportunities, providing design inputs to the research and development teams, lead the product vision and release generation roadmap, and drive product launch, marketing and customer support activities.

Responsibilities:

As the Head of Product for Drug Delivery,  you will be responsible to lead the following responsibilites to Insightec’s Targeted Drug-Delivery (BBB disruption) product:

Product Management

  • Market Analytics - collect and analyze market data to support future product development decisions
  • Release generation roadmap – build the product’s release generation plan (timeline, content and regions)
  • Launch programs - define and execute launch programs for product releases in all target geographies
  • Commercial support – build business models of the product utilization, pricing and commercial models
  • Marketing – support marketing and educational activities as required by commercial business teams
  • Competitive landscape – manage and monitor the product’s competitive landscape analysis

Product Definitions

  • Market inputs – establish techniques and collect market inputs to identify and drive product requirements from all stake holders (customers, commercial, clinical research, academia etc.)
  • Prepare a product definitions documents that will serve as design inputs to the product development teams.
  • Prioritize product features and functionalities, considering inputs from all stakeholder, risks and potential value to Insightec’s business, operations and customers

Collaborations & Engagement

  • Identify strategic collaborations that support product long term needs
  • Discovery & value creation - Ideation, scouting and screening of new opportunities and unmet needs in the marketplace (clinical / academia / industry)
  • Develop and support future partnerships with pharmaceutical companies
  • Clinical needs – develop the product research inputs to the company Annual Research Needs Assessment
  • Establish and maintain luminary site collaborations in strategic accounts

In addition, as a cross-functional role, you will also support the following company functions and goals:

  • Research Programs –Work with the R&D, Clinical and Medical Affairs, to develop programs within the product roadmap
  • Publications – Provide directions and inputs to drive publications related to the product
  • Future technologies – Provide directional inputs to future technologies roadmap, outside the current product development plans
  • Marketing activities – Support downstream marketing activities relates to the products
  • Utilization – Support the Regional Accounts as needed, to achieve commercial and research utilization goals

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s / Master’s in engineering or related Business degrees
  • 7+ years of experience in similar positions, in pharmaceutical companies and/or related medical devices companies
