The First European MRgFUS Symposium‚ September 22-23‚ 2011‚ Rome‚ Italy- Select Talks About ExAblate



Over two hundred researchers gathered in Rome in September 2011, to hold the First European Focused Ultrasound Symposium, devoted to discussions of clinical results in this exciting treatment modality of MR guided Focused Ultrasound. 
The symposium was organized by Prof. Carlo Catalano and Prof. Roberto Passariello of the Radiology Department of La Sapienza University. During two days researchers from all over Europe, Israel, US and Asia gave over forty lectures on a wide range of topics including brain disorders, prostate cancer, breast cancer, bone metastases, lower back pain, and uterine fibroids and the tremendous improvement in the quality of life of patients.
