Operator console
This is the computer system that the physician uses for treatment planning and treatment monitoring. The console communicates with the MR system to retrieve images used during treatment and is located in the control room next to the MR console.
Detachable patient table
This is the table that the patient lies on during the treatment. The patient table docks to the MR scanner and incorporates a focused ultrasound transducer. This transducer focuses high intensity ultrasound waves into the body for treating fibroids and tumors without the need for an incision.
Equipment cabinet
This cabinet houses the electronics involved in generating the focused ultrasound. It is located in the MR equipment room.
Chiller
Water cooling system which is located in the adjacent equipment room.
