Breast research studies

To date over 200 patients were treated in Phase I and Phase II clinical trials. These trials were designed to demonstrate the feasibility of replacing lumpectomy with non-invasive treatment of the tumor by excising the tumor and verifying through pathology the percentage of necrosis

An excisionless trial is currently underway in Japan. In this trial 43 patients were treated to date out of 50. Patients are treated by MRgFUS followed by radiation.
