InSightec is conducting a prospective, nonrandomized, single arm study to evaluate the feasibility of MRgFUS in the treatment of liver malignancies.  Patients suffering from inoperable or unresectable malignant, primary or metastatic, liver tumors, for which there is an indication for either palliative or intended curative ablative intervention, will be recruited for this study.  All patients will be treated and then followed clinically for 6 months to evaluate the change in their symptoms and changes in the dimensions and viability of the treated tumor mass as viewed by CT, and/or MR imaging.
